A graduate of Carleton University’s School of Journalism, Jessica Rose is a writer, editor, and book reviewer whose writing and photography have appeared across Canada including on the CBC and in Quill and Quire, Room Magazine, and THIS. Jessica is a founding editor at The Inlet, the book reviews editor at THIS Magazine, a senior editor at the Hamilton Review of Books, and a long-time columnist and feature writer for Hamilton Magazine, where she writes about local literature and art. She has more than 10 years of experience in educational publishing where she writes and edits award-winning books for children.
Jessica has a passion for art, travel, food, and literature, and especially loves solo travelling adventures that allow her to criss cross countries by train with a good book in hand. Since beginning to contribute for MarQuee in 2017, she has written about a variety of topics, including mental health, health care, fashion, and travel. She’s excited to be part of this new chapter for MarQuee.
