In-Person: Sunday September 12, 2021
Virtual: September 12 to September 26, 2021

This year our 12th annual Constantine Yorkville Run will be the first road race back since the pandemic began, and our team is motivated to reconnect our community of runners and businesses in support of 35+ local charities. This year, we are hosting both in-person and virtual events for a group of 1,000 local and active runners, with the expectation to completely sell out!

To ensure the safety of all participants and staff, our highly anticipated in-person event is a fully vaccinated event that will take place at 9 am on the morning of Sunday, September 12th. Participants planning to take part in the in-person event will be prompted in the registration process to confirm that they have received a full dosage of a COVID-19 vaccine, approved by Health Canada. In order to maintain social distancing, we have arranged 10 waves of start times and participants will be asked to predict their anticipated finish time based on previous training. As further precautions, face masks are required within the outdoor venue, including the start corrals and finish zone, but can be removed on the race route. Participants are kindly asked to place their masks back on once they pass the finish line. Individuals who are unvaccinated but interested in participating in the run can select to participate in our virtual run between September 12th and 26th.

For the virtual run, participants can run anywhere and anytime within these dates and upload their finish times to their fundraising page. Registration for the Constantine Yorkville Run is $100 +HST, plus a $100 donation to the charity of the runner’s choice. With the entry fee, all participants receive a premium race kit valued at over $100, a finishers medal, and the chance to win exciting fundraising prizes and social media contest giveaways from run partners.

In 2019, the Constantine Yorkville Run fundraised $851,679 for 34 small, local charities and in 2020, the run’s first virtual run raised $610,633 for 36 small, local charities. Our run is recognized for fundraising the most dollars per participant than any other run in Canada, and this year, our goal is to continue to make a big impact in our community with the goal of raising $1 million. In spite of the pandemic, our runners and local businesses continue to step up in support of our important, local causes. Despite working through this period of uncertainty, our team has been able to see this time as an opportunity to problem solve and grow, and this year we are excited to bring our premier road race experience back!

It is with great thanks to our partners that we can make our run happen each year. Our title partner, Constantine Enterprises Inc., is a private real estate company dedicated to acquiring, developing, and managing high-quality properties in Canada and abroad with projects in Yorkville. This marks Constantine’s second year sponsoring the run along with presenting partners First Capital Realty Inc., and Greybrook Realty Partners. This year’s Key Partners include KingSett Capital, Palace Row, Armour Heights Developments and Rogers Communications along with dedicated partners, Morguard, EXACT Technology, and Over the Rainbow – our race kit pick-up partner. We give additional thanks to the ongoing support from our partners as our event continues to proceed with our annual Top-Up program. This program provides our runners the opportunity to win additional funds for their charity on top of their donations. This program, along with our fundraising contests and prize giveaways can be found on our fundraising page. In its 11 years, the Constantine Yorkville Run has fundraised $3.2M+ for small, local charities, and this year we plan to continue to make a difference in the lives of many.
